These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. By placing an order you accept them.
1. Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Shudita Skincare & Wellness, Astraal Estate, Village Bhaiten Fakot, Tehsil Narendra Nagar, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand – 249175, India. In these terms “we”, “us” and “Shudita” mean that business, and “you” means the person placing the order.
2. Products and descriptions
We describe everything we sell as accurately as we can, including what goes into it. Our products are made by hand from farm-grown and wild-harvested botanicals, so colour, aroma, texture and appearance vary between batches. Photographs are of real batches, but the item you receive will not be identical to the photograph, and that variation is part of how these things are made.
Net weights and shelf lives are printed on the product pages and on the pack. Shelf life runs from the date of manufacture.
3. Not medicines
Our products are cosmetics and food preparations. They are not medicines and they are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim to treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, nursing, on medication or managing a skin or health condition, speak to a qualified practitioner before using anything new.
Botanicals are active ingredients. Patch-test on your inner arm and wait a day before using a product on your face, and stop using it if your skin reacts.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping is calculated at checkout before payment. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it. We will tell you if that happens.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, not when you complete checkout. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if the item has sold out, if the delivery address cannot be served, or if we suspect fraud — and will refund anything already paid.
Everything is made in small batches, so stock genuinely runs out. If part of your order cannot be fulfilled we will contact you before shipping the rest.
6. Delivery, returns and refunds
Dispatch times, delivery estimates, returns and refunds are set out on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms. Delivery estimates are estimates; they are not guaranteed dates, and we are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, weather or circumstances outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Your account
If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Please give us accurate contact and delivery details — most delivery failures start with an address typed in a hurry.
8. Intellectual property
The Shudita name, logo, product photography, written descriptions and the design of this site belong to us and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission. You are welcome to share links and photographs of what you have bought.
9. Reviews and submissions
If you leave a review, you confirm it is your own honest experience and you give us permission to publish it. We may decline to publish or may remove content that is abusive, false, unlawful or not about the product.
10. Liability
We take responsibility for supplying goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality, and for loss or damage caused by our own failure to take reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for reactions to a product used against the guidance on this page or the label, or for anything arising from information on this site being relied on as medical advice. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Privacy
We collect only what we need to take payment, deliver your order and answer your questions. We do not sell your details to anyone.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
